About

Daniel Dvoress, known online as “Oxota”, is a GTO LAB co-founder and one of the most consistent high-stakes tournament performers of the last decade, known for his disciplined study methodology, deep solver knowledge, and ability to translate complex theory into practical, executable strategies.

At GTO LAB, Daniel co-designed the postflop chip-EV and ICM solutions alongside Nick Petrangelo. He also co-created Tournament Savagery, GTO LAB’s comprehensive ICM masterclass covering every stage of tournament play from early stages through the final table. His coaching topics include:

  • Solver methodology and flop reports — how to use flop reports as a genuine study tool, understanding bet volume splits and range interactions across board types
  • Postflop ICM framework — a structured approach built around three variables: pressure, range construction, and stack depth
  • Accuracy vs precision — why correct frequencies matter more than exact combos, and how to identify which deviations are truly exploitable
  • Big field ICM and bubble dynamics — in-game stack valuation, the case for the min-raise, and blending GTO and exploitative approaches in large-field events
  • ICM-resilient strategies — how solver behavior shifts as pressure increases node by node, and how to turn those patterns into exploits
  • Cold 4-bet construction — building balanced ranges that apply pressure while maintaining theoretical soundness
  • Study habits and mental approach — honest self-assessment, structured pre-series prep, and building understanding rather than memorising outputs

Daniel brings the same standards to his coaching that he brings to his game — precise, honest, and built for players who want to understand poker at a deeper level.
